Helen Larish
Lives & works in Seal Rock, OR
Helen studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. After retiring from a career in biomedical sciences, she is now pursuing her love of art full time.
I primarily work in encaustic for its luminosity, depth, and texture. The translucent nature of beeswax makes it the ideal medium for capturing the light and atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest.
